Who We Are
Club17Africa is Africa’s First and Leading Youth driven SDGs club for Secondary Schools in Africa to create awareness and advocacy for all goals. Founded by Dr Mina Margaret Ogbanga, the Club targets youths in Africa for overall National Development. The need to establish SDGs club or a forum where youths would be engaged on the importance of the SDGs or to have a first hand knowledge of all the 17 Goals is imperative. This club seeks ways in which these youths can play active roles in the implementation of the UN Agenda.
CENTER FOR DEVELOPMENT SUPPORT INITIATIVES
The Center for Development Support Initiatives is a 501 (C) registered Charity with Special Consultative Status with the United Nations ECOSOC .
Its initiatives are focused on building community resilience through research, training and partnership in pursuant of the Sustainable Development Goals.
Its key targets are Women and Youths.
CLUB17 Africa is one of the Flagship project of CEDSI with focus on youth development.
