ANNUAL REPORTS

In 2016 when the SDGs were launched, The Center for Development Support Initiatives – CEDSI Nigeria swung into action with the launch of its Club17 Africa’s SDGs Awareness Advocacy Action Project – SAAAP. This project was a multipronged approach geared towards:

  • Creating awareness amongst the in-school youths, communities, Government and corporates.
  • Promoting advocacy were SDGs are mainstreamed into the various target organisations process.
  • Taking actions through the identification of priority initiatives within the SDGs to implement.
  • Report and Documentation – ensuring the availability of strategic data to support the policy process.

E-NEWSLETTER

Club17 Africa is a youth driven action for the achievement of the SDGs. The new global goals presents a universal development agenda that
leaves no one behind. Children and youths are at the heart of this new agenda and they can play a role in achieving it by helping to hold their
leaders accountable for the promises they have made. So it becomes key to create awareness and understanding on why the Global matters
are not met. This is why you help matters, with partners so far, we already introduced the goals to 200 students directly and 4000 indirectly,
I per an average school. We hope to reach 50 schools this session which will ultimately help in reaching 150,000.00 students directly. Club17Africa is a movement of young people taking ultimate action for climate justice. One club at a time.
